About Arthur Latcham (1895 – 1979)

Philanthropist Arthur Latcham believed that there is nothing more important to a community than healthcare. That is why he donated 50 acres of land in 1967 for the building of Markham Stouffville Hospital. Mr. Latcham created the ultimate legacy for the future of our community and helped to realize a dream to build a first-class hosiptal to support our growing community.
