Campaign for MSH
Our community is growing fast.
By 2030, our hospital will serve a population of close to 500,000. This means welcoming as many as 6,000 babies a year, treating up to 115,000 patients in our Emergency Department and seeing the needs double for cancer care, surgery and mental health.
Health care is changing.
The way we care for our patients is too. Markham Stouffville Hospital (MSH) is a leader in delivering excellence in patient care. To be ready for what lies ahead, MSH must continue to transform delivery of care.
Government funding is not enough.
To enable our bold new vision to provide care beyond our walls, Markham Stouffville Hospital must build capacity and capability.
The Campaign for MSH will enable an extraordinary future by building on what the hospital has achieved in its first three decades to become the hospital we both need to be and want to be to meet the needs of our growing, aging and diverse community.
Join us and help bring a lifetime of care closer to home.
The Campaign for Markham Stouffville Hospital calls on our community to invest $150 million to transform our hospital into an integrated health care hub with enhanced services, expanded spaces and the best talent to deliver the care our community needs and deserves, close to home.

Each and every day, we are honoured to care for the communities we call home.
We strive to provide the highest quality of care and the best possible experience for our patients and their families. Support from our community is what makes this possible. Government doesn’t fund everything we need to keep pace with the rapidly growing and changing demands on our hospital. With you beside us, we will continue to be there, delivering the exceptional care our community needs, right here, close to home.
