We are continually reviewing the languages offered to ensure an equitable experience for all. Markham Stouffville Hospital’s Baby Wall offers a unique opportunity to honour the special baby in your life by having their name displayed for all to see in the Stollery Family Centre for Childbirth & Children. Each name on the Baby Wall reflects the generous support and pride of those who honour the newest members of their family or families of loved ones.

Our MSH Heroes program allows you to recognize staff at Markham Stouffville Hospital for their excellent care. If there is a remarkable doctor, nurse, devoted volunteer, a dedicated hospital staff member, or an unsung hero who has touched your life, you can pay tribute to them with a donation through the MSH Heroes program.

They will receive a card of appreciation as well as a commemorative pin to wear with pride.

Yes. The Foundation always acknowledges tribute gifts when addresses are provided to either the next of kin or to the individual being honoured. You can include this information with your donation through our online giving page.

No. This information is confidential and will not be disclosed.

People often donate in lieu of favours or gifts for occasions such as weddings, baptisms, birthdays and anniversaries. The Foundation can work with you to create a custom certificate or acknowledgement for your particular celebration.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

MSH Foundation will be able to provide tax receipts for any donation amount, unless otherwise stated on specific event forms according to Canada Revenue Agency guidelines.

Tax receipts for online donations will be generated automatically and sent via email within a few minutes of the transaction. If you have made an online donation and have not received an email with attached tax receipt, please check your spam folder or contact us at 905-472-7373 ext. 6341.

Monthly giving donors will receive one consolidated tax receipt each year for your annual contribution from the previous year in February. To learn more about monthly giving, please visit our Monthly Giving page.

No. Government can't fund all of the costs required to provide quality care to our community. The Hospital relies on MSH Foundation to fulfill all equipment and technology needs. Now, more than ever, Markham Stouffville Hospital relies on the fundraising support of our community.

From time to time, the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation conducts campaigns in our community which includes door-to-door fundraising to support our hospital’s greatest needs. Our canvassers are trained professionals with identification indicating they are representatives of the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation.

Our Foundation is currently not fundraising through a door-to-door campaign and will update our website if we are actively canvassing.
